First of all Larry Legend did not develope this system to start with, it was passed on to him. It was developed by my friends over 25 years ago and called the NBA Chanuka system because you needed enough games to use it. Over the past 25 years I have used this system with some good results and other times it was disasterous. It was a good system to use to validate plays when using it in conjunction with other systems. Now they change the name to NBA christmas system and add all these new stupid rules to whether the game is a play or not. Secondly they dont know how to use the formula when it comes to calculating a HF when the HF's win/loss record is worse then the AT's and vise versa. What I find most interesting of all, is everyone uses this formula blindly without doing any homework. Thats a great way to lose your ass. I hope I have not offended anyone for their hard work.

It doesn't matter what team you list first, you're going to get the same result. In tomorrow's game with Boston at the Lakers, you can either list Boston first and you'll get:

Boston (.931) - Lakers (821) = Boston +110. 110/20 = 5.5
Boston 5.5 - 3 (Lakers HC) = Boston + 2.5 or Lakers -2.5

Or you can list the Lakers first and you'll get:

Lakers (.831) - Boston (.931) = Lakers -110. -110/20 = -5.5
Lakers -5.5 + 3 (Lakers HC) = Lakers - 2.5 or Boston +2.5
